You will notice that I stopped at 1905, as I believe that the sheriffs and dates after that time are probably correct in the current list published by the Sheriff’s Office. I did not enter any individuals on the list unless I had direct, first-hand documentation.

Note, that the dates given for newspaper items are the dates of the issues of the newspaper and not the dates of the events mentioned.

I would hope that the sheriff’s present list will be corrected and updated.
